My first char was a warrior. He got deleted probably a month later.
A year and a half after that i saw one nice warrior destroyer core farming build, and decided to give it a try to get the gauntlets for my rit. But i couldnt be bothered to level him, and play through EotN, so he got deleted.
So i vote for the second option.

I don't play a warrior. I never have. Actually, I take that back. I do have a warrior parked in pre who I occasionally like to take out and make him /flex (I'm a chick, so it's ok right?)

I intend to get some Warrior Elite Kurzick armour. It is badass and one of the highlights of playing a Warrior.

Also, what's with having multiples of the same profession? I think it's a waste of a character slot to have more than one.

Lol because dervish is´nt warrior? And u failed at that statement, warriors obsolete? From what i see dervish ,warrior and assassin are still used in the game ,maybe not in an equal porcentage over the playerbase, and it depends on your play style or what u really want to do,that decides which profession is better.

I have a warrior, but I do not play my warrior. The only time I use warrior is in PvP, and I normally play support so that is rare.
I used to play my warrior as a tank in FoW, but I now play my paragon in FoW because I have a much more entertaining time with him. His shouts for boosted armor are amazing, and they are a lot less energy-heavy than the Obby Warrior build I used. Also, I don't need to be bonded when I'm a paragon! That allows us to clear with only one monk in NM and we use 2 monks in HM (party size of 6).
I used to use my warrior to run people, but I've found running is also a lot easier for my paragon. My armor is just as high as my warrior's running set, but I don't have to worry about countering degen. "Never Surrender!" = GG hexes and poison. My paragon can run all of Tyria.
I've never had much fun farming as a warrior, either. My paragon has now replaced my monk as my primary farming character. Ectos and shards are all mine.
Mesmers are still the most fun for me to play, but paragons are pretty cool too!

I haven't had the game for more than a year yet, but I do have 11 character slots one with each profession and an extra Ranger. My Mesmer was my first, then Ranger, Assassin and Necro and I love these four, I tried a Warrior out for a few hours, got it to level 14 I think and found it really boring. Strangely I also found the same with an Ele, she's still just level 6.
I just found the gameplay far more complex and engaging with the other classes, a Warrior just seems to run in and whack and the Ele stands back and blasts. I'm not dissing anyone who likes them, I just found it lacking something.

I started playing GW 34 months ago and never had a war and never will, just not enough finesse to be interesting imo. My ranger has always been a better runner and does well with melee weapons when necessary. I have rolled a pvp warrior and it was most boring class ever, but it is an effective and powerful class in the right hands just really not my style.

Only good point in a warrior is that they look Epic (or stupid, more often stupid actually, but can look epic) and fun in PvP I'll give them that. AM I the only one who thinks any RP-er should have at least a warrior for the look?
Bottom line : have a PvE warrior, made her for the weapon skin in PvP and running.

hehehe ironically that would be interesting to see, that or just seeing how many people play on their warrior as a main.
But then again i'd specify for dervish. Those are pretty common too.
Talking about that, where's the cake?

I just made a PvE Warrior a few weeks ago.
But I only made him for farming UW and FoW. Warriors are just too boring to play in PvE.

i like beating stuff up
so yeah, in PvE, warrior is my main (however, it was the 3rd toon i created, after an ele and a monk, but both the ele and the monk were quickly deleted, i hate playing caster). Right now, it's pretty much the only PvE toon i touch.
In PvP, i play warrior, ranger, assassin, paragon and dervish. Physical damage > * you might say
